Today I have a review of a shampoo and conditioner that I have recently been loving. It’s the Shea Moisture Zanzibar Marine Complex Age-Defy & Color Protect Shampoo and Conditioner. I’m still a teenager and I don’t color my hair but I chose this shampoo because I do a lot of swimming in a chlorinated pool and I thought that the added moisture and protection would be good for my hair. This shampoo and conditioner smell like Sweet Tarts! It’s one of my favorite things about it. All Shea Moisture products are sulfate, paraben, phthalate, paraffin, gluten, propylene glycol, mineral oil, synthetic fragrance, PABA, synthetic color, and DEA free. The shampoo doesn’t lather much so it might seem like you haven’t used enough but a little goes a long way. The same is true for the conditioner. You don’t need to use much. I really love these products. My hair has felt really moisturized and healthy since using them even after I swim or use heat.
I also really like the company that makes these products. Shea Moisture is cruelty free, fair trade, and use sustainable packaging. It was founded by a woman named Sofi Tucker in Sierra Leone, who sold shea nuts and homemade hair products to make a living. Also, these products are part of their Community Commerce line that donates 10% of their proceeds to communities that provide their ingredients or to the Sofi Tucker Foundation.
Have a great day!
