A week or so ago, Elf had 40% off their entire website so I ordered some products that I had either been eyeing for a while or loved and was running out of.
The first product I ordered was the Essential Flawless Eyeshadow quad in Beautiful Browns. You can find it here.
While I like all of the shadows in this palette, I LOVE the second one, marked lid. It is the perfect all over shade for the days when I want a really simple eye look. It is also perfect for filling in my brows when I don’t want them to be super dark. The darkest shade, marked line is also really great for smudging underneath the lower lashline.
The second product was the Mad for Matte eyeshadow palette. You can find it here.
This palette is absolutely beautiful. I loved the range of colors. I didn’t get swatches of the shadows yet but I will post a review with swatches soon.
I also bought the Mist and Set spray. You can find it here.
I haven’t used a setting spray before so when I thought I would try this one out when it was on sale. My school is holding their homecoming dance at the end of this week so I am going to put this to the test to see if it can stand up to a night of dancing.
Next I bought three of the studio line brushes, the ultimate blending brush, the large stipple brush, and the small stipple brush. You can find them here, here, and here.
The brushes are so soft.
Look at these bristles.
I can’t wait to try these out.
Last but not least, I bought the studio pout perfecter gloss, and two of the matte lip colors in wine and hot commodity. You can find them here, and here.
The matte lip colors are like a lip pencil that twists up but they are very creamy.
In one end there is a sharpener to keep a nice point on the lip colors so that you can also use them as a lip liner.
Here are some swatches
The pout perfecter had some very visible glitter and it looked like when the gloss wore off it left the glitter. Not the best but I think it would work pretty well in the center of the lip to make it more three dimensional.
Have a great day!
